What Pika H3 Flex really is

A six-step sampler that writes picture and audio together, hosted here so a browser is the only requirement.

  • A retrained MiniMax H3
Pika's October 29, 2026 build samples in six steps and returns 5–15s clips at 24 fps with stereo audio baked in.
  • Text, or a frame to open on
Hand it text, a still to open on, a closing frame, or both — enough to animate a photo or bridge two shots.
  • Hosted, no datacenter GPU
The LoRA weights on the 33B base run in ComfyUI if you own the hardware; here the model runs for you in a browser.

From written shot to MP4 in three steps

Pika H3 Flex follows the same short loop every time: describe, choose, download.

Pika H3 Flex features

Six things that shape how a Pika H3 Flex render feels in practice, from audio to refunds.

Sound written with the picture

Voices, score, effects and room tone are produced alongside the frames, so nothing has to be synced afterwards.

Six steps, many takes

Sampling is short enough to shoot three or four versions of the same beat and pick a winner instead of waiting.

Cheap drafts, upscaled finals

Try an idea at 480p or 768p, then re-render the keeper at 1080p, 2K or 4K; upscaling keeps the audio and frame rate.

Framing for every feed

Set 21:9, 16:9, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 9:16 before rendering — one shot can fit a cinema frame, a feed post or a vertical screen.

Rewrite toggle

A short idea can be expanded by the enhancer; switch the rewrite off and a detailed prompt is followed literally.

Refunded failures

When a render breaks, runs out of time or gets stopped by moderation, its credits return to your balance — you pay for finished clips only.

FAQ

Pika H3 Flex — questions, answered

Model basics, credit costs, clip length and local setup, explained plainly.

1

What exactly is Pika H3 Flex, and when did it launch?

Pika's retrained MiniMax H3, out October 29, 2026: six-step sampling, 5–15s clips at 24 fps, stereo audio in the same pass, and open LoRA weights.

2

Is PikaH3Flex the official Pika website?

No. We run an independent browser studio built on the Pika H3 Flex model, with credits, automatic refunds and download history — unaffiliated with Pika Labs or MiniMax.

3

How many credits does one video cost?

Charged per second: 480p 2, 768p 4, 1080p 7, 2K 8, 4K 16 credits. A 5s 768p clip is 20; a 15s 4K clip is 240 — cost shows before you generate.

4

How long can a single clip be?

Each render is 5, 10 or 15 seconds at 24 fps. Longer pieces are stitched from several generations, one shot at a time.

5

Can I run it locally in ComfyUI?

Yes — the LoRA weights run on the 33B base in ComfyUI or diffusers, but a 5s 480p clip needs about 66–69 GiB of VRAM and 211 GB of disk, so most stay hosted.

6

How do I make a character speak with matching lip sync?

Put the exact line in quotes and name the speaker, then list voice, ambience and effects after Sound:. Speech and lip movement are generated together.
